Community Outreach Ministries - provides community outreach to surrounding neighborhood and city of Rochester. The community outreach includes three elements: the Missionary Society, Straight from the Heart Ministry and Jail & Prison Ministry.
Missionaries Society – provides outreach to the whole man, to witness to the unsaved, to walk with the saved, and to assist in bereavement, to meet the needs of those that are less fortunate, to provide Christian outreach at home and abroad and to be an example of consecration. This ministry is responsible to coordinate funeral and other events that are missionary related. The ministry includes missionaries Bible instruction and membership visitation.

Straight from the Heart – this is the outreach ministry of the church that provides new to used clothing and hot meal to the at-large community. The ministry provides assistance through encouragement and extortion.
President: Sis. Shirley Richardson
Jail & Prison Ministry – is to serve First Genesis members who have family members who are incarcerated and meet the needs of their family members. This can be done by encouraging spiritual guidance taking the Word of God into the Correctional Facility and visiting them.

Alpha & Omega Ministry – is to serve the community youth. The ministry seeks to provide enriching opportunities by expanding the reach of the youth. The ministry includes instruction for youth by providing pro-active intervention

Evangelism Explosion – this ministry seeks diverse approaches to sharing the gospel. Includes opportunities for street and friend evangelism, Annual training for those interested in sharing the gospel with friends and family.
